Two students at Monterey High School in Lubbock, Texas have been arrested and a third is listed as a suspect after a sex video recorded inside the school went public.

The video was distributed via social media this past week and involved three students. It was reportedly filmed on Friday, Oct. 7.

Lubbock Police Department officials told KCBD that one of the students was arrested for public lewdness and sale and distribution and display of harmful material to a minor, while the second was charged with public lewdness. A third suspect has been identified, but not charged as of the publication of this story.

The two suspects have been booked into Lubbock's juvenile detention center.

Lubbock ISD issued the following statement about the incident:

Lubbock ISD was apprised of a video posted to social media of three students involved in sexual activity on school district property. The district took immediate action in initiating both administrative and criminal charges. Anyone distributing the video could also face charges.
