You may have noticed that lately the Cactus Theater has been trying new, interesting and fun things. I'm not saying it wasn't great before, but in lieu of sitting back and just doing what is already working (award-winning plays, tribute shows, etc.), the Cactus truly wants to be a venue for everybody.

That's why I'm super excited they've booked Metalachi, perhaps the most fun you will ever have watching a live band. I have had the privilege of seeing them before and they are beyond entertaining.

But you may be wondering... what is Metalachi? Well, it's everyone's favorite metal songs (think Ozzy, Iron Maiden, AC/DC), but performed in a unique style that I'd say is 25 percent metal and 75 percent mariachi. I'm talking violin, trumpets and of course tons of guitar and drums. Not only does that crazy formula work, it's technically impressive and insanely fun. Here's a little sample that shows the humor and the insane talent:

It's going to be a hilarious, fun and impressive show, AND it'll be set in the fantastic ambiance of the Cactus Theater.
