After cancelling several dates on her Christmas tour due to an upper respiratory infection last week, it looks like fans of Mariah Carey may have to wait a couple more days to see the singing diva.

In a tweet posted on November 24, the "All I Want For Christmas Is You" singer announced the tour's delay due to doctor's orders.

“I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with loved ones; it’s certainly nice to remember what we are grateful for!" Carey tweeted. "Like most, I’m thankful for my overall health…for which I need a bit more time to get right. Doctors have ordered a few extra days of rest before I can finally fly to New York and take the stage for my Christmas Tour.”

The All I Want For Christmas Is You Worldwide Tour was set to kick off in New York City on December 2 and make its way to Paris, Manchester and London, with Las Vegas as its last stop on December 22.

Now that Carey has to follow doctor's orders, it's only safe to say that all fans and concertgoers want is for "Mimi" to feel better.
