Lubbock police are seeking information on two convenience store robberies that occurred during the early hours of Sunday, November 16. It is unknown if the two incidents are connected.

At 2:00 a.m. on Sunday five suspects entered the 7-11 at 50th Street and Avenue U. One suspect brandished a handgun at the clerk while the others took cash from the store’s register and stole alcoholic beverages. The suspects are described as four black males and one black female. The suspects allegedly escaped in a white passenger vehicle that police believe may be a Nissan Frontier pickup truck.

Then at approximately 2:45 a.m., two suspects entered the 7-11 at 34th Street and University Avenue. One suspect brandished a gun at the clerk while the other stole cash from the store’s register. The suspects in this incident were described as black males and were seen absconding in a white vehicle.

Police have not released photos of the suspects or announced if the cases are linked.
