By now, you may have heard rumors that franchise Jimmy John's is celebrating its first-ever Customer Appreciation Day with dollar sub sandwiches. It's no rumor; it's happening today only (Thursday, April 21).

Having been duped by similar promotions in the past (remember National Donuts Day?) and finding that no local restaurant was actually participating, we decided to do some research to find out if this whole dollar sub deal was indeed true for the Hub City. Lo and behold, it is!

For those of you who haven't tried a Jimmy John's sandwich, I can say with confidence that they do make some of the best sub sandwiches of any national chain, due in large part to their incredible bread.

For a buck, you really can't go wrong. However, there are some rules in play here:

  • Forget their freaky fast delivery. This offer is available in-store only, and only one per person, so you've got to make the trip.
  • Sandwiches included in the deal are the Pepe, Big John, Totally Tuna, Turkey Tom, Vito, Veggie, BLT and all of the Slims.
  • All sandwiches come on Jimmy John’s French bread, but JJ Unwich lettuce wraps will also be available. There might be an additional fee for the nine-grain wheat bread depending on the location.
  • The offer is only good from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 21.

Yep, all three Lubbock Jimmy John's are participating: 4730 Slide Rd, 2413 Broadway and 5510 4th St #300.
