Lubbock-Con's Geek Garage Sale Set for Saturday, July 25

We've all heard those stories about people finding amazing valuable treasures like still-in-the-box Star Wars action figures at garage sales that are worth a crap-ton of money. Well, this garage sale could be full of just that kind of stuff.

Lubbock-Con's Geek Garage Sale happens Saturday, July 25 from 5 to 10 p.m. at Tornado Gallery, located at 1822 Buddy Holly Avenue in the Depot District. All proceeds from the event go toward funding next year's first-ever Lubbock-Con.

If you need to upgrade your current collection of comic books, video games and other geek-centric stuff, than this just might be the place to do it.

Lubbock-Con founder DeNae Griffith stopped by the radio station to tell us more about the event and what the group has planned.
