9 Great Places in Lubbock to Eat Biscuits and Gravy
Mmmm-mm, what's better than biscuits? Biscuits and gravy!
Big, fluffy, soft, warm and fresh biscuits topped with delicious, creamy hot gravy that melts in your mouth. Words fail to do them justice and they are some of life's simple food that is the best comfort food on the planet especially here in Texas.
There's no shortage of choices. Pretty much every breakfast serving restaurant in Lubbock has them, but not all biscuits and gravy are created equal!
Of course, some of my best biscuit and gravy memories were after a night of two-stepping. We'd all end up at the truck stop, broke and hungry, and the B-9 (I believe was the number on the menu) for $2.99 gave us a full serving of steaming biscuits drowned in gravy that we could share and still have enough in the budget for a cup of coffee and a tip. Those were the days!
