Día de Los Muertos is a traditional holiday in Mexican and Central/South American culture dating back as far as 3000 years. The departed are honored with food, drink, photos and other objects.  The tone is usually joyous and bright- a  refreshing alternative from what many people consider the required fear and anxiety associated with death.

I have been blessed to be invited to celebrations in the past, the memories of which I will treasure always. The artistry is incredible to behold and the strong bond of community is an absolute pleasure to witness.
