I was watching The Voice the other night and while I didn't see Nakia's performance of Adam Lambert's "Whataya Want From Me" but I did hear the judges comments right after. I heard Adam Levine mention that he hadn't heard the song before, which isn't a big deal. Except afterwards he continued to say that he probably wouldn't have liked the song before, but Nakia made him like the song. The exact words are, quote, "I'm not familiar with that song, but you just forced me to like it. I'm pretty sure . . . although I've never heard that song before . . . that you probably sang it better than the person that sang it originally. So, good job." While he claims he really never heard that song, it did sound like he was being snarky towards Adam Lambert. Here's the video:

Now Glambert's fans are up in arms about it, but Adam himself says its no big deal. Adam tweeted: "Yeah Nakia! Saaaang boy!! Great performance. I think Adam might know who I am after this next album. Get ready for me, Levine. Hahah. But for the record, I'm def a Maroon 5 fan. Fans: There is NO reason to be angry . . . Thanks for being protective, but it's all good."

Adam Levine Tweeted: quote, "I had honestly never heard that song before. I thought that @Nakia made me like a song that would have otherwise fallen flat. I'm NOT sorry." But he later added, quote, "No disrespect intended for @AdamLambert. I honesty had never heard the song before. I'm not one to take cheap shots like that." So its all good!

Here's Glambert's version of "Whataya Want From Me."
