THIS POST WILL BE UPDATED AS RECRUITS SIGN

It's officially time for National Signing Day. There are 12 players already in Lubbock as early enrollees, but there are more signees yet to sign on National Signing Day.

This 2017 class had two main goals: offensive lineman depth, and secondary help.

Most know that 2016 was a terrible year for Texas Tech's offensive line. Not so much on the field, though they did have their struggles, but with two potential starters being kicked off the team for criminal charges (that were eventually dropped) and three more for-sure starters who retired for medical reasons. In short: the quality of the team's offensive line depth suffered greatly.

The good news is that this class looks to have some great depth at offensive line. The headliner is Jack Anderson, a 4-star guard who will have every opportunity to be a four-year starter. He's not the only solid offensive lineman coming to Lubbock, though. Take a look through this list and follow all the action at texastech.com for the official announcements from the school.

The second goal accomplished by the Texas Tech recruiting staff was solidifying the secondary that lost several seniors last season. They did this by getting a mix of freshmen and junior college players. Every secondary recruit will have the opportunity to play this season. That is the nature of this beast.

Without further ado, here are the 2017 Texas Tech Recruits:

Offensive line - 5

Running Backs - 1

Quarterbacks - 2

Defensive Line

Defensive Backs - 5

Linebackers - 3

Special Teams - 1
