Kliff Kingsbury spoke to the media Tuesday afternoon to preview the Kansas Jayhawks, and the most important question asked was, "Who is going to play quarterback this week?"

Kingsbury was noncommittal on the thought of having all three quarterbacks available for the tilt against the Jayhawks. Just taking the team's short run with McLane Carter into account, with him only lasting one drive against TCU before being forced back out with his ankle injury, the most likely starter this weekend will be Jett Duffey.

That's, of course, if Alan Bowman is still out.

Kingsbury did update the gathered media members on Bowman's status, saying: "I wouldn't say he's full-go yet, but he's easing himself back in," Kingsbury said, adding that Bowman won't play "until he's 100 percent." The goal is to be overly cautious due to the rarity of Bowman's injury, he clarified.

There aren't any limitations on Bowman's football skills as of right now, but Kingsbury said that it was fair to say Bowman hadn't participated in any team drills so far.

Without any full-contact work (as much contact as quarterbacks even get in practice), it's incredibly unlikely that Bowman will even be suited out for the game.

That means, it's Jett Duffey, Colt Garrett and Nick Gerber on the three deep for the Red Raiders this weekend against Kansas.
