High School Runner Shows True Class [VIDEO]

As heard on the Bobby Bones Show this morning, West Liberty Salem high school runner Meghan Vogel wasn’t going to win her race, in fact she was in last place with about 20 feet to go. She’s going to be first place in a lot of people’s hearts though.

OOne of her competitors, sophomore Arden McMath, had fallen in front of herand Meghan felt she should finish the race no matter what.

So she helped McMath up, and supported her as she attempted to keep running, despite her injury. Meghan even made sure that Arden crossed the finish line first since, technically, she was ahead when she fell.

In the end, the race officials decided to take no action against Vogel and McMath for their illegal move, and they were awarded 14th and 15th place.
