‘Gilmore Girls’ Will Soon Stream on Netflix Globally, So Binge Away!
Both diehard fans and would-be fans of Gilmore Girls are in for a treat: Starting July 1, no matter where you are in the world — whether nestled in a quaint town in Connecticut, a bustling metropolis in Japan and everywhere in-between — you'll be able to stream the beloved series on Netflix.
The streaming service has announced, via a charming video starring Lauren Graham (a.k.a. Lorelai Gilmore), that it will air all seven seasons of the nostalgic show across its international platforms.
"Anyplace you can watch Netflix, you can watch Gilmore Girls," Graham informs us in the clip.
Those places include nations like Mexico, France, Russia, Australia, South Korea, Brazil, South Africa, Egypt, India and the other 181 countries where the service is available. (Unfortunately, that does not include China, North Korea, Syria or Crimea due to government restrictions.)
"Maybe you've seen Gilmore Girls, or maybe you've never seen it but always meant to watch it," Graham continues. "Either way, now you can starting July 1. Welcome to Stars Hollow. Careful — we talk fast."
Considering we're months away from Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life — the actress confirms in the promo that new episodes are "coming later this year — now's the perfect time to re-familiarize yourself with all of Rory's former flames, Lorelai's drama with Luke and the silly small town politics of Stars Hollow.
