From the Director of ‘Crazy Heart’ comes ‘Out of the Furnace’ and It Hits Theaters December 6th [VIDEO]

2013 has been full of great nights at the movies.But this week "Out of the Furnace" opens and this one has me excited. An all-star cast  joins together and gives the sophmore picture of Scott Phillips (Crazy Heart.)

• Russell Baze (Christian Bale) has a rough life: he works a everyday mans blue collar job headed nowhere at the local steel mill, and cares for his terminally ill father. When Russell's brother Rodney(Casey Affleck) returns home from serving time in Iraq, he decides to get involved with one of the most ruthless crime rings in the Northeast and mysteriously disappears. The police seem to not have a clue so Russell takes the case and matters into his own hands, putting his life on the line to seek justice for his brother.

"Out of the Furnace" opens this weekend and the star studded line-up makes it a winner for sure. Look for Christian Bale, Woody Harrelson, Casey Affleck, Sam Shepard, Forest Whitaker, Zo Saldana and Williams Defoe.
