Evie Mae’s Proves That The Best Part Of Being Texan Is BBQ

I'm what you might call an adventurous eater. I'll try almost anything once. So tell me there's a new BBQ spot open and I'm totally there homie.

Evie Mae's started out in a trailer in Wolfforth. IT has now moved not once but twice into a bigger spot. It's one of those places that serves until it sells out. My family and I went Friday at 11:30 or so. They open at 11 so getting in was already sketchy. But after what seemed like waiting forever, because its almost impossible to wait while smelling all that delicious BBQ, we got to the front of the line and amazingly they still had brisket. Yes! This weeks brass ring reached.

Evie Mae's has amazing brisket, juicy and awesome turkey, and the best potato salad and smoked beans I think I've ever had. So if you like your food smoked head to Wolfforth and wait in line for your turn at Evie Mae's. It's worth it. Trust me.
