Chipotle is making its opinion known about Friday's SCOTUS ruling which legalized gay marriage nationwide. But is the chain's new choice (no pun intended) in poor taste?

Chipotle has been an active supporter of gay rights for some time, but the food chain's latest coupons have some some people crying foul, accusing the chain of using the ruling to sell more burritos and being too provocative.

The ad asks the question "Homo Estas?" (a take on "Como Estas?" which means "How are you?" in Spanish). The chain has been using this phrase on T-shirts for some time, and now they have integrated the phrase with the questions seen in the picture above with two button pointing to eat other.

One says "I eat tacos," and the other says "I eat burritos." In between the words is the question "Which way do you sway," with arrows pointing to each.

I spoke with Katrina Stanley, general manager of the Chipotle's in Lubbock at Kingsgate South off 82nd St., about the chain's provocative coupons.

She said the only cards that they have to give out at this time are the "Who's Your Buddy" cards, but she did say that Chipotle corporate is sending the new cards via USPS to customers in the chain's loyalty program.
