With all the controversy regarding the Indiana "Religious Freedom" act and discussions that revolve around discrimination based upon sexual orientation and a businesses ability to deny service to an individual who may be gay, some are throwing the 'discrimination' card out against a Dallas, Texas Taco Cabana location.

A group of Hispanic men in Dallas had just gotten off the job and went to the restaurant to eat dinner. They claim their clothes were dirty having just fished a job, but were met with a very rude staff that would not let them eat inside or outside on the restaurant's patio.

The CEO for Taco Cabana, Tim Taft met with the parties involved and insists that there was a misunderstanding. He claims that the establishment was simply trying to close for the evening when the men arrived, and therefore asked the workers to take their food to-go.

To me, this is a simple case of a communication breakdown with a few people who then turned the incident into a racial divide via social media. Frankly, I think the workers took advantage of the situation and have blown the whole thing out of proportion.

Do you believe the CEO, or feel that the staff in a Mexican food restaurant actually discriminated against Hispanic members of the community due to their appearance? Feel free to voice your opinion below.
