Texas Tech is bringing students the first Campus Movie Fest starting on Tuesday, October 9th.

The event, which started in 2001, was established to give students a chance to show off their creativity in film and learn about the film industry.

From Texas Tech:

"CMF provides the technical stuff for your film," event organizer, vice president of Tech Creative Media Association and creative media industries major, Brennon Holbrook said. "All you have to do is bring an idea. It's a chance for those who are rooted in media and those who aren't alike to create something. Creating is more than your name on a billboard or in credits. It's the student's chance to put an idea or opinion into the world and maybe change a mind or two."

The event will run through Monday, October 15th. If you would like more information you can visit Texas Tech.
