Behind-the-Scenes Look at ‘The Monster’ Music Video With Eminem and Rihanna [VIDEO]

We’ve all heard the hit song from Eminem and Rihanna “The Monster”, but do we know what the song symbolizes? In the midst of shooting the official music video, we get a behind-the-scenes look.

As the pair gear up for “The Monster” North American mini-tour they are shooting the video for the song of the same name. The clip above features behind-the-scenes footage from filming as Eminem’s manager, Paul Rosenberg, explains the concept for the video through a voicemail message to the rapper. In the music video, Eminem is sitting down with a therapist, played by Rihanna. He drifts off to sleep and awakes in an elevator, which takes him to different floors of his life. We see plenty of flashbacks from the videos he’s famous for. At the end he finally meets “the monster.” What is it? You’ll have to watch.
