Austin’s Franklin BBQ Let President Obama Cut the Line, But Put Kanye West In His Place [VIDEO]

This is Texas. That means that any BBQ restaurant in the state counts as our home, or favorite, BBQ place. Austin's Franklin BBQ tops many Texans lists. But they don't cater to celebrity snobbery.

Back in March, it's being reported that Kanye West was in Austin. And having heard of the great BBQ they have at Franklin's, he went to get some. Supposedly, Kanye West tried to cut the line because Kanye West. But Franklin's doesn't care who he is, they want all of their customers to have the same great experience.

According to Benjamin Jacob, the restaurant’s general manager, Franklin's BBQ told Kanye West to go to the back of the line. HA! Gotta love Texas. No matter how famous you think you are, you wait for your BBQ like everybody else does. That's the Texas way.

Of course, they did let President Obama cut the line, but that was probably for security purposes. And when the Secret Service is licensed to kill, you give them a pass sometimes. (He also was feeding Air Force 1, and I heard he bought some people in line their lunch, too.)
