Alannis Morissette Absolutely KILLED Her Version of Green Day’s “Basket Case” on Jimmy Kimmel [VIDEO] [AUDIO[

Alannis Morissette filled in last minute on the Jimmy Kimmel show. She was called in due to Green Day having to cancel their scheduled appearance. Of course they had to pull out of the gig because Billie Joe is headed to rehab, which is a completely different story altogether.

So as Jimmy was wrapping up his show he shot it back to Alannis on the outdoor stage, as he always does. She and her band went into a slow stripped down version of Green Day's "Basket Case" as a tribute, and completely destroyed it! This is one of those times when you get to hear an old song for the first time again. It was really done well. Here's the video, and the audio is down below.
